Two and a half years ago, I met Robert J. Buonfiglio when he enrolled in the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute. The Institute (BECI) is certified with UC Berkeley Executive Education. The 10-day intensive took place in Florence, Italy. in 2019. Follow-up work took place over the next 6 months including 50 documented hours of executive coaching, oral exams, research, and writing essays.

I found Robert to be both an excellent student as well as a role model for others. Clearly, his background as a licensed psychologist allowed him to be a true model for others. He applied himself to the rigorous BECI program of study - learning both the theory and practice of what it meant to be a BECI coach. In a few words, this can be summed up as “ BECI Executive Coaches develop the mind and heart of the client.” His mastery of the BECI technique coupled with his inclusivity, empathy, and compassion make him a great coach and leader. He is truly an example of sound humanist principles. He is the real deal - reflecting honesty and the highest values of a man with a strong moral compass.

Robert is a dynamic leader and coach. He and I align in our commitment to making the world a better place. His care, personality, and compassion radiate in his work of helping people in their growth and development. His sound grasp of psychology guides his work with professionals who aspire to live what has heart and meaning for them. I know that living with vitality is important to him and I have witnessed changes he has made in his life to live in that way. He walks the walk and his life experience and training make him a very skilled and equipped change agent.

If you are looking for a coach who is passionate about you and your change process and committed to the power of human transformation, I highly recommend you work with Robert J. Buonfiglio.

Robert is a great executive coach and he is not afraid to challenge me to dive deep into the heart of the matter and held me accountable to ensure my success by developing meaningful steps to achieve my goals. Being a CEO can be challenging at times, Robert acted as a great sounding board to me and provided the support needed for me to gain perspectives.

Robert came to our 10-day Leadership & Coaching Bootcamp in Tuscany, Italy in 2019. I immediately noticed his positive energy and generous personality. I was his coach after the 10-day program and I could tell he masterfully combined his therapy background with his newly acquired executive coaching knowledge. He is a very good listener, a leader with mind and the heart, he cares about his clients, he is authentic and if you’d like to be stretched and pushed in a gentle way, you should work with Robert.
